Does Glucosamine + Chondroitin + MSM interact with Chondroitin Sulfate?
The classic joint duo.
Glucosamine and chondroitin are both building blocks of cartilage that are almost always studied and sold together; the combination is thought to support the cartilage matrix and has the most evidence in moderate knee osteoarthritis.
Typical doses are 1500 mg glucosamine and 1200 mg chondroitin daily, often split. Give it 8 to 12 weeks to judge, and skip glucosamine sourced from shellfish if you have a shellfish allergy.
