Does L-Citrulline Malate interact with Beetroot Powder?

Both raise nitric oxide to widen blood vessels and improve blood flow, but by different routes: citrulline converts to arginine to feed the enzyme that makes nitric oxide, while beetroot supplies dietary nitrates the body converts along a separate pathway.
A common pre-workout 'pump' and endurance stack. Take citrulline (around 6 to 8 g) and beetroot about 1 to 2 hours before training. Beetroot can turn urine or stool pink, which is harmless, and both may slightly lower blood pressure.
