Best time to take Curcumin
Take curcumin with a fat-containing meal, and choose an enhanced-absorption form.
Plain curcumin is poorly absorbed, so it is paired with black pepper (piperine) or formulated as a phospholipid or micellar form, and taken with fat, which together transform its uptake.
Take an enhanced-absorption curcumin with a meal containing fat. Split the dose for joint or recovery use.
Use caution with blood thinners, as curcumin can mildly affect clotting.
