Best time to take Selenium
Take selenium with food; the dose matters more than the time of day.
Selenium supports the thyroid and antioxidant enzymes, but it has a relatively narrow safe range, so the key is dose, not timing. Food reduces any stomach upset.
Take around 100 to 200 mcg with a meal. A couple of Brazil nuts already supply a day's worth, so do not double up.
Do not megadose selenium, too much is toxic.
