Best time to take Vitamin B6
Take vitamin B6 with food, usually in the morning, and keep long-term doses modest.
B6 is water-soluble and supports nerves, mood, and the homocysteine pathway. It is well tolerated with food, but very high doses taken for a long time can cause nerve symptoms.
Take it with a meal, morning or split. Keep long-term intake at or below about 100 mg per day unless a clinician directs otherwise.
Do not megadose B6 for months at a time.
